Murphy Tells All

By: Rachel Tobin Ramos
Date: October 14, 2005
Publication: Atlanta Business Chronicle
Section: Restaurants & Hospitality

Tom Murphy has put pen to paper to reveal a history of Atlanta’s best-known eateries. In his new book commemorating 25 years of Murphy’s Restaurant, Murphy and co-author Jan Butsch reveal some surprises.

For example, Murphy’s wasn’t always at the intersection of Virginia and Highland. And Murphy, aka The Cheese Man, didn’t start with a fine wine in hand. Some may recall his auspicious start as a hot dog vendor. There’s also reflections in the book from Atlanta’s own A-list chefs, like Bob Amick, Alon Balshan and Michael Tuohy. And fear not, Murphy unlocks the secrets of some of his comforting food, such as his signature shrimp and grits.

Jan Butsch's parenting book, Just a Stage, is a parenting book for mom to read. If you are a new or expecting mom and you want to read a humorous parenting book about children, then this is the parenting book for you. If you want to know you are not alone, read this parenting book. She makes parenting really funny. She also makes parenting fun, even though parenting can be very difficult. She finds the humor in parenting.
