Colonial Properties Trust wanted to announce a major law firm as its anchor client as well as its plans for construction of a Class A office tower adjacent to its successful Brookwood Village retail mall in Birmingham. Schroder Public Relations worked closely with reporters from both the Birmingham Business Journal and The Birmingham News to ensure the project got major coverage in both competing publications on the same day.

Schroder PR also consulted with the managing partner of the law firm, Johnston Barton, on how best to handle the reporters' questions. We worked closely with the Investor Relations Department of Colonial Properties, a NYSE- publicly traded REIT, to ensure news of the project was released simultaneously on Business Wire, as well as to national and regional real estate publications.
