THREE NATIONAL REAL APPRENTICE WINNERS FROM ATLANTA
Marietta Resident Kendra Shearer awarded $80,000 grand prize grant
ATLANTA (February 17, 2005) – The Real Estate Apprentice, a national contest looking for the next real estate superstar, awarded its first series of inaugural grants to ten of the most qualified newly licensed residential real estate professionals. Three of the top finalists chosen, including the overall winner, are from the Atlanta area.
Marietta resident Kendra Shearer will be awarded $80,000 during a private ceremony and reception on February 25.
A Georgia native and mother of three, Kendra is an inspiration to her children, peers, and fellow students alike. Her dream is to one day work together as a family in the real estate business with two of her children who are preparing to take their licensing exam. Being a registered nurse since 1977 has enabled her to help care for her other daughter, who was born with spina bifida.
“The Real Estate Apprentice grant will help me make my dreams a reality,” said Kendra.
Kendra attended Barney Fletcher Schools, which is the largest provider of real estate and appraiser education in Georgia for the past 25 years and the firm which is hosting the ceremony and reception next Friday.
“We are extremely proud of Kendra and her accomplishments,” said Barry Richardson, president of Barney Fletcher Enterprises, Inc. “She is well on her way to being the next real estate superstar.”
