SCHRODER PUBLIC RELATIONS EXPANDS TO ACCOMMODATE GROWING CLIENT ROSTER

ATLANTA, October 7, 2008 – Schroder PR, an Atlanta-based communications firm serving clients primarily in the commercial real estate, architecture/design/construction and professional service sectors, is expanding to accommodate its growing client roster.

This summer, the firm gained One Georgia Bank, Fifth Street Management, construction and project management firms Bovis Lend Lease as well as engineering and architecture firm Stevens & Wilkinson Stang & Newdow. To accommodate this new growth, Megan Elting and Margaret Willard were hired as account coordinators in September. In addition, Devin Releford was promoted to senior account coordinator.

"Although many categories are challenged by today’s economy, we find that many firms are taking the opportunity to focus on their branding, their website and their position in the marketplace," says Chris Schroder, president and founder. "In addition to new clients, several existing firms have opted to take this time to increase their public relations campaigns, hoping to increase market share when the economy expands again. These partnerships allow our agency to expand and continually develop our talented team of communications professionals."

Megan Etling, a 2008 graduate of University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, will primarily work with the firm’s commercial real estate clients. The journalism and mass communication major also studied English and psychology and was an intern at integrated marketing agency, Three Atlanta.

"I’m enthusiastic to help our commercial real estate clients," Megan said of her new position at Schroder. "I also bring a big smile, and a Tar Heel stick-to-it-attitude." Megan previously worked as an intern at French West Vaughan PR in Raleigh, NC.

Margaret Willard, a 2008 University of Georgia graduate, will work in Schroder’s architecture/design/construction practice area. She has degrees in public relations and psychology from the University of Georgia. Margaret previously worked as a public relations intern for The R Agency and Montreat Conference Center, and was the creative team leader for the UGA Go Green environmental campaign.

"At the heart of it all, I love being creative and I think my imaginative ideas will bring a fresh perspective to the Schroder team," Margaret said.

Additionally, as a result of her excellence in serving the firm’s professional service clients, Devin Releford was recently promoted to Senior Account Coordinator. Releford first joined the firm in July 2007 as an intern and became a full time account coordinator in September 2007. Devin, an Atlanta native, is a graduate of the University of Tennessee and has a degree in advertising.

With these new staff additions, Schroder PR now has nine full-time staff and four part-time contractors.
