SEPTEMBER MARKS SEVENTH ANNIVERSARY FOR ATLANTA FINANCIAL CENTER SECURITY OFFICER RHONDA EZZARD, HER SERVICE TO COMPLEX

Security Officer Rhonda Ezzard frequently patrols the parking deck during her 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Shift
This September marking her 7th year anniversary at AFC, Security Officer Rhonda Ezzard is very familiar with all things Atlanta Financial Center.
"I was interested in technology for some reason," Rhonda explains, since her degree is actually in dental technology, "but this is what I should be doing. I have three family members who work in prison corrections, so security is really what I have been around my whole life."
During her 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. shifts, Rhonda patrols Atlanta Financial Center's parking lot, looking for any suspicious activity.
Although she looks sweet, Rhonda takes security and parking lot patrols very seriously. “I don’t get scared, I’ve been in security since 1999 so I am used to it now.”
"One thing I have learned while here at Atlanta Financial Center, it's that you can't always assume that 'the bad guy' is dressed poorly," she said. "Office creepers are normally well dressed, so they can fool you."
Originally from Aiken, SC, Rhonda moved to Brooklyn, NY at the age of nine before eventually moving to Atlanta. She now has four children, one girl and three boys. In her spare time, Rhonda enjoys cooking spaghetti and watching medical shows.
