Screening of the play "Un Becoming" at Westin Hotel, Nov. 14

Un Becoming premiered Off Broadway in 2004. It revolves around Emma Douglas, a woman who has everything ... to lose. She is sensual, smart and driven. Painting is her life's breath. But a medical opinion threatens everything. Un Becoming explores the importance of women listening to their voice of intuition and what can happen if that voice is silenced.

Christmas House, Nov. 15

The 34th–annual Christmas House in Buckhead will be decorated by the foremost interior designers, landscape architects and florists for the holiday season. The annual fundraiser benefits the Tony Award–winning Alliance Children's Theatre, now celebrating its 40th year in Atlanta as one of the nation's oldest art education programs. Soups, salads, sandwiches and seasonal desserts will be for sale on site at Café Noel, and holiday gifts will be for purchase at the special shop by Boxwoods Gardens & Gifts, Inc. Longtime personality synonymous with Atlanta Radio, Vikki Locke, will be the Celebrity Chairperson at this year's Christmas House.

Tutankhamun at the Civic Center, Nov. 15

The Michael C. Carlos Museum of Emory University presents Tutankhamun: The Golden King and the Great Pharaohs, opening on November 15th, 2008, at the Boisfeuillet Jones Atlanta Civic Center. This awe–inspiring exhibition spans the greatest eras of Egyptian History – from the Old Kingdom to the Late Period – between 2600 – 660 BC.

Native Lands: Indians and Georgia, Through Nov. 16

Exhibit will feature video recordings, photographs and historical artifacts representing the lives of Creek and Cherokee Indians from Georgia. Cost: $15; $12 ages 65 and older and students 13 and older; $10 ages 4–12; ages 3 and younger free.

Atlanta Marathon & Half Marathon, Nov. 27

The Atlanta Marathon starts and finishes at Turner Field Stadium (26.2 miles) ... while the Half–Marathon (13.1 miles) goes straight down Peachtree Road through Downtown Atlanta and makes its way to Turner Field.

Start Times: Half Marathon: 7:00 a.m.; Full Marathon: 7:30 a.m.
