A NOTE FROM THE GENERAL MANAGER

Emily Sircy

Welcome to the sixth issue of Around AFC. This month we cover the Nov. 1 opening of City Club of Buckhead's Athletic & Spa facilities and our Oct. 14 Hollywood–themed tenant event. Please view the video of this red–carpeted event by clicking here.

Hines also recently remodeled Atlanta Financial Center's website. Check it out at www.atlantafinancialcenter.com. We encourage all of our tenants to visit the site for latest property news, amenity updates and space availability.

If you have any future story ideas or items you would like to see in our monthly eNewsletter, please contact us. We'd love to hear from you.

Have a safe and happy Halloween.

NOV. 1 MARKS OPENING OF ATHLETIC/SPA PORTIONS OF CITY CLUB OF BUCKHEAD AT ATLANTA FINANCIAL CENTER

Atlanta Financial Center will debut City Club of Buckhead's Athletic Club & Spa Nov. 1 following an extensive remodeling on the North Tower Terrace level.

The 18,000–square–foot facilities feature locker, spa and exercise rooms. Other amenities will include personal meal planning and preparation, fitness trainers, fitness classes, massage therapists, spa services and a therapeutic pool.

"Having access to a health club that is conveniently located in one's office building is a nice amenity," 20First Hospitality Vice President Terri Harof said. "But having a health club that is more than 18,000 square feet in an office building is almost unheard of."

HOLLYWOOD LOOK–A–LIKES, PAPARAZZI SWARM ATLANTA FINANCIAL CENTER
FOR FALL TENANT EVENT

Security Officer Rhonda Ezzard
Hines Fall Tenant Event

Atlanta Financial Center morphed into a Hollywood "American Idol" set for the Hines Fall Tenant Event Oct. 14. The Level E parking deck transformed into a red carpet complete with paparazzi, television crews and autograph seekers as tenants feasted on barbecue and watched Atlanta Financial Center's "American Idol" contest.

After she was met by a Joan Rivers impersonator to answer the important "Who are you wearing?" Foy & Associates' Akina Dennis said, "I feel famous! The red carpet, the theme, I love it."

As C.V. Starr & Co.'s Gloria Rodriquez and Hope Williams finished their red carpet walk and waited for other coworkers to arrive, they were anxious for "American Idol" to start. "But we definitely won't be participating in the singing," Hope said laughing.

BATMA OFFERS VANPOOL TO/FROM ATLANTA FINANCIAL CENTER

BATMA

The Buckhead Area Transportation Management Association is offering Atlanta Financial Center tenants and their employees the opportunity to participate in a vanpool from Snellville to Buckhead for $75 per month.

BATMA's Sabrina Bawuah said vanpools operate like mini–transit services and run on a set schedule. "We have 30 vans with about 10 commuters in each van. We use a database called www.myridesmart.com to find a group of commuters who live and work near each other and are interested in finding a new commute plan. Once we determine the individuals who want to participate in the vanpool, it's easy to get a van active and in place."

For more information on BATMA or how you can participate in the vanpool, please visit www.batma.org or call 404-842-2680.
