Atlanta Financial Center will debut City Club of Buckhead's Athletic Club & Spa Nov. 6 following an extensive remodeling on the North Tower Terrace level.

The 18,000–square–foot facility features locker, spa and exercise rooms. Other amenities will include personal meal planning and preparation, fitness trainers, fitness classes, massage therapists, spa services and a therapeutic pool.

"Having access to a health club that is conveniently located in one's office building is a nice amenity," 20First Hospitality Vice President Terri Harof said. "But having a health club that is more than 18,000 square feet in an office building is almost unheard of."

"We want the members of the City Club of Buckhead to feel like this full–service dining and fitness staff is always a step ahead, always ready to meet their family and business needs," Terri said. "Of course our club décor will be spectacular and the equipment state–of–the–art, but more important, our LiveWell Concept will offer our members a full menu of therapeutic and relaxing spa services."

Hines and its partner and co–owner at Atlanta Financial Center, General Motors Asset Management (GMAM), invested more than $6.5 million in renovations to complete the new club. Hines and 20First Hospitality engaged the design firms of Chapman, Coyle, Chapman and Ferry Hayes & Allen Designers, Inc., both nationally recognized for designing private clubs, to implement the renovations.

City Club of Buckhead Athletic Club & Spa will be open Monday through Thursday 5:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Friday 5:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Atlanta Financial Center tenants and employees can visit the club and speak with a representative about membership prices during club hours. City Club of Buckhead will be closed Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Years Day, but will be open until 2:00 p.m. on Christmas Eve and New Years Eve.
