UNIVERSITY OF GEORGIA ALUMNI CENTER CREATES ITS OWN
LITTLE ATHENS

UGA Alumni Center

Things get really interesting in the South Tower when it's football season. While tenants from Atlanta Financial Center have attended a variety of schools around the nation, the 10,000-square-foot University of Georgia Alumni Center is home to only bulldogs.

"When we are winning, we don't really hear anything from other tenants," Membership Coordinator Realenn Watters said of the playful banter. "But it does get funny when people rent meeting space from us. We get a lot of Auburn, Florida and Tech graduates that come in and sort of look nervous."

The alumni office is pretty unmistakable. From specialty red computers, Georgia Bulldog memorabilia wall art and a painting of Uga, the bulldog that is the school mascot, school spirit is not in shortage.

But all are welcome to the UGA Alumni Center. "We tell everyone that they can come in, but they have to behave themselves," Realenn said laughing.

On site, the center houses two admission counselors, a development office and event planners. "We really want tenants to know that they can use our meeting space, they just need to give us a call and we can quote them rates," Realenn said.

All University of Georgia graduates receive a special rate.
