Elliott Wright grew up in Ahoskie, North Carolina. The population: 4,523. It's no wonder Wright was stir-crazy when he arrived to Atlanta five years ago.

"I grew up in a very small town, and this is the big city," he said with excitement. "There is so much to do and see here. I love Six Flags and Underground Atlanta."

Wright, 28, will celebrate his one-year anniversary as a security officer at Atlanta Financial Center in September.

In his spare time Wright enjoys traveling, writing and attending Concord Baptist Church. He will graduate with a degree in Human Resource Management from Herzing College.

With a self-described "energetic" personality, Wright has also managed to find time to launch his own property management business named "The 1 & Only Leasing and Management Company LLC."

"I like mingling with new and different types of people. I love talking to people," he said. "At Atlanta Financial Center it’s easy to do that, and to make friends and network."

His zest for life is rather contagious. When asked what a perfect day for him would be, he said simply, "Every day is a perfect day. My perfect day is when the Lord blesses me, and to give someone a smile. If I see someone [at AFC] walking and they don’t have a smile on their face I tell them, 'Smile!'"

How could you not smile back?
