Georgia Society of CPAs' Jennifer Poff and Elizabeth Kistler

You don’t have to be a certified public accountant to take a field trip to the Georgia Society of CPAs’ offices located in Atlanta Financial Center’s North Tower. With more than 6,000 square feet of space for 25 employees, the professional organization has plenty of room to share. And that’s just what they are doing.

“Our location is great for tenants in Atlanta Financial Center who are looking for classrooms and boardrooms that offer LCD and overhead projectors, DVD/VCR combo units, white boards, motorized screens, flip charts and audio equipment,” Member Services Coordinator Jennifer Poff said. “Rental fees start at $125 and go upwards of $350.”

An added bonus – Georgia Society of CPAs offers all guests unlimited soft drinks, hot chocolate, tea and coffee during their visit. “It’s really one-stop shopping,” Poff said. “Everything you need is right here. We can even cater.”

With 22 chapters and 11,000 members located around the state, the Georgia Society of CPAs serves the accounting community by promoting the study of accountancy and applicable laws, providing continuing professional education, maintaining high ethical and work standards and providing information about accounting issues to the membership and the public.

The professional organization holds conferences, training courses and workshops year-round for all of its members. They have been headquartered in Atlanta Financial Center for five years.

“It’s a great location, and a central business district which is perfect for us,” Public Relations Manager Elizabeth Kistler said. “When we have guests come in to town, hotels and restaurants are right here, which makes their experience convenient and worthwhile.”

Anyone interested in renting out meeting space with Georgia Society of CPAs can contact Jennifer Poff at (404) 504-2939. Space is available Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.  Classroom and boardroom sizes vary, and can accommodate anywhere from 16-50 people. Discounted rates for frequent renters and building tenants may be available.
